TOEFL iBT 92 with 20 in writing and speaking , 18 in other subscores

*2-years validity date for IELTS/TOEFL will be counted backward from 1st September of the year intake.
(i.e. for students joining SOAS for exchange programme in September 2026, their IELTS/TOEFL will have to be taken on or after September 1st 2024.)

Students coming for the full year can apply for any undergraduate or graduate halls for SOAS students and can choose depending on their preferences/budget. Semester-long exchange students can apply for Dinwiddy House which offers an unadvertised semester-long contract on a first-come-first-serve basis.

▪SOASは開発学と人類学でトップクラスの大学であるため志望した。
▪大英博物館のすぐそばにあり、大学が周りに多い地域だったので落ち着いた雰囲気だった。
▪授業自体はかなりハードで、よく勉強した1年間だった。日本では講義を聞くだけだったが、留学中はチュートリアルでディスカッションを行ったりエッセイを書いたりとかなり自分から勉強する機会が多く、理解を深めることができた。
