Successful applicants have to arrange the following on your own: accommodation, visa, airline tickets and insurance. There are instances where, depending on the university ofyour study abroad destination. you may be required to register to a student insurance plan, or a medical insurance plan like Japan's National Health Insurance Plan. It may be possible to apply for an exemption to the host university's insurance plan by presenting a certificate of enrollment to a Japanese insurance plan, so it would be good to confirm whether thisexemption is possible or not.
