Aarhus University is a young, modern university established in 1928. There are 37,500 students at AU and it has grown to become a leading public research university with international reach covering the entire research spectrum. AU is consistently ranked as one of the world's top 100 universities.

Undergraduate programs open to exchange students

Courses are available in English across the five faculties: Faculty of Health, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Technical Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Aarhus School of Business and Social Sciences. Subject areas include: Scandinavian studies, international and European studies, history, communication, business, economics, social sciences, information and media studies, philosophy, semiotics, anthropology etc.

Please note that at Aarhus University students specialize in their field of study from the very beginning of their programme. there are limited number of 1st year courses taught in English it is difficult especially within science and technology to offer courses at the right level to students with a liberal arts background.
