University profile Beijing Normal University is a renowned institution of higher education known for teacher education, and other diciplines in arts and sciences. BNU is especially renowned for areas such as Education, Psychology, Chinese History, Geography and Ecology, Chinese Language and Literature, Theatre, Film and Television and System Science. The school has 22,000 full-time students, including 8,900 undergraduates, 11,300 graduates and 1,800 long-term international students. The campus has 1 education faculty, 22 schools and colleges, 2 departments and 36 research institutes. The library boasts over 4.1 million volumes and some 17,300 GB of digital resources, with 1,400 GB e-books.
Undergraduate programs open to exchange students We provide three different programs for undergraduates.

2. General Visiting Student
3. Senior Visiting Student
4. English-Taught Credit-Course Program

Students can take Chinese language courses or regular academic courses taught in Chinese. They can also take the academic courses taught in English (please refer to: http://iso.bnu.edu.cn/en/course?cid=10&pid=2&type_id=1&k=1)

Scholarship information ------
Dormitory information BNU will try to provide dorms to exchange students. However, if room spaces are limited, BNU may not guarantee dorms for exchange students.
Accommodation Application Deadline: Early January (for spring semester); Mid July (for fall semester). It' s highly suggested that students apply for accommodation as soon as they get the admission notice and the student ID number.
