University profile Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) is a modern, high-quality public university that was founded in 1990. It focuses on the knowledge areas of the social sciences and humanities, communication and information technologies, and health and life sciences. It is located in the heart of Barcelona and is home to around 9,000 degree-seeking students and 1,300 international students on exchange or study abroad programs.

・Faculty of Translation and Interpreting must take an online placement test

▪大学は市内中心部にあり、生活圏がまとまっているので暮らしやすい。スペインは各自治州に特色があり、同じ国なのに違う側面をたくさん持っている。そのため国内旅行も目的地によって全く違う体験ができる。
▪授業はインタラクティブで、学生の参加が求められるので、自分の意見を言う力は身に付いた。また、さまざまな国から来る留学生や、現地学生と交流する機会が数多くあった。
