University profile Founded in 1878, the Université de Montréal (UdeM), with its two affiliated schools, the École Polytechnique and the HEC Montréal, is now the largest university in Quebec and the second largest in Canada. With over 66,988 students from around the world, UdeM awards more than 13,000 diplomas every year. Deeply rooted in Montreal and dedicated to its international mission, UdeM is one of the top universities in the French-speaking world. With over 9,316 foreign students enrolled last year, UdeM is considered one of Canadaʼs most cosmopolitan universities. Its foreign student office (Bureau des étudiants internationaux) provides guidance and information to foreign students, while English-speaking students from other Canadian provinces receive help and advice from the coordinator of the Anglophone Student Support Program. ▪フランス語の大学に留学、というとやはりフランスが一番の候補に挙がってくると思うが、モントリ
オールという選択も強くお勧めする。モントリオールでもフランス文学や美術についても勉強でき、ケベック独自の社会、言語などについて学ぶことが多く、面白い。
▪モントリオールでの生活は本当に過ごしやすいことに加え、優しい人が多く、街並みも素敵である。
