▪いつでも質問したいとき手を挙げて、講義中に質問して良いスタイルだった。日本ではほとんど演習がないのに対し、毎週大量の演習があり、スピードが学部の授業では2倍、院向けの授業では4倍くらいの速さだった。
▪博物館や連邦政府、NGO/NPO本部、国際機関、シンクタンク、学術施設がワシントン周辺に密集しており、さまざまな分野の学びと人脈を深めることができる。
