University profile | 17世紀後半にルイ14世の財務総監だったコルベールによって、フランスの外交の威信を高めるための外国語学校として創立される。以後3世紀以上に渡り、研究者、外交官、国際ジャーナリスト、経済人を輩出している。2011年9月にはパリ13区の国立図書館のそばに新校舎が完成、現在は「新カルチエ・ラタン」と呼ばれる「国際言語・文化地区」の牽引車的存在となっている。イナルコは、世界の93の外国・地域言語・文化を教えることで、世界的にも有名。大学全体では8,000人の学生がおり、そのなかでも日本学部・大学院は約800人の学生を有し、学生達は毎日、切磋琢磨しながら勉強している。 |
Undergraduate programs open to exchange students |
Exchange students can select courses from three different categories, according to their individual needs and French proficiency levels. Please note that all courses are taught in French. You will find all necessary information in our course directory. 1. Language and Civilisation courses These courses refer to teaching in languages area studies. *Please note that a French language test will be sent to incoming students before their arrival at Inalco. Its results will determine the group level to which the student will be registered at Inalco, regardless of other results from DELF/DALF exams. 3. Professional Track courses - International Trade *Please note that access to Inalco's Professional Track courses is competitive and subject to final approval from an admission committee. |
Undergraduate programs NOT open to exchange students | • Korean language and civilization courses are not open to exchange students. • Japanese studies department o Courses from the 1st year of bachelor degree are closed o Students wishing to take courses from the 2nd year of Bachelor degree must have a JLPT N3 with a minimum grade of 120/180 o Students wishing to take courses from the 3rd year of Bachelor degree must have a JLPT N2 • Russian, Arabic and Chinese studies departments - Full beginner classes are closed to exchange students. Students wishing to take courses from these departments must attest that they previously studied the language for about 200 hours. |

Inalco is generally able to provide exchange students with student housing in external residences (CIUP, CROUS, ALJT), just a short distance away from Inalco. Please note that housing cannot be guaranteed, however. Prices range from €400 to €620. Students wishing to apply for one of these residences must include this information in their online application form. |

▪名前に東洋とあるが、これはコルベール時代の東洋なので、西欧以外すべての地域のことを指す。ネイティブアメリカンの難解な言語をはじめ、ベルベル語、スワヒリ語など日本ではお目にかかれない授業もたくさん。社会系・国際政治系の授業も強い。 |
