How to Apply (for privately financed international students)

Scholarship Registration is necessary for students to apply for university application scholarships, university recommendation scholarships, or scholarships for privately financed international students that Keio University provides. This registration is open at the beginning of each semester. If you do not register, you will not be able to apply for a scholarship. Scholarships for privately financed international students are intended for full-time degree students whose status of residence is "student."

Procedures of Scholarship Registration for 2024 Spring Semester(Updated on January 31, 2024)

Registration Period

(A) CURRENT students: March 19 (Tue.) - 11:00 AM on March 26 (Tue.), 2024. "Deadline is Final."
(B) NEW students: April 1 (Mon.) - 11:00 AM on April 8 (Mon.), 2024. "Deadline is Final."

* "New students" are those who enrolled Keio in April 2024. Others are "Current students."
* Registration is possible even on office closing days (Saturday, Sunday, etc.), but please note that questions or inquiries cannot be answered on the closing days.

How to Submit the Registration Documents

Please upload all your documents from the Google form of the campus linked below that you belong to in 2024 Spring Semester.
* Please log in with your own keio.jp address. (We do not accept submissions from other people's accounts.)
New students will be able to submit via the Google Forms after activating their keio.jp account.
The activation period varies depending on the faculty / graduate school, but you can activate your keio.jp account by the end of the registration period.
*You are able to submit the documents from Google Form only once.
*If you need to replace the submitted documents, please contact to the e-mail address of your campus within the registration period.

International Student Scholarship Evaluation

*Please send the faculty member your request at least one week before the document submission deadline. Respect their time and busy schedules. If it takes a long time to prepare the documents, ask your instructor in advance so that they may schedule an evaluation, before all the douments are ready.

Personal information provided for scholarship applications and processes, including Initial Scholarship Registration, shall be used only for screening scholarship recipients, verifying the qualifications of scholarship recipients, managing scholarship payment and refunds, and for verifying the agreements between scholarship recipients and sponsors(Keio University, Monbukagakusho, JASSO, scholarship-giving foundations, associations, or local government). Within a scope that is appropriate for achieving the above purposes, the International Center may disclose when necessary personal information about recommended students to sponsors, financial institutions, and others. Personal information shall not be used for any other purposes.
