The Myanmar Program by Learning Across Borders
MYANMAR PROGRAM:This program introduces a country which, while least-developed economically, is rich in culture, and is now undergoing a swift transition to a more democratic nation. Japan's role in business investment and ODA is becoming increasingly important. Through many meetings with local students, staff of NPOs, diplomats at the Japanese Embassy and others, the program studies important political, economic, social and cultural issues. The group explores Yangon, Mandalay and Bagan. The participants, mostly Japanese, will also include students from National Taiwan University and Chulalongkorn University (Thailand). August 26-September 6, 2017.
Information meeting: 6:15 pm., May 24, Hiyoshi Communication Lounge.
Application deadline: June 1.
