Administrative and academic facilities include a computer center, general and subject-area libraries, language labs and audiovisual classrooms, and athletic facilities for swimming, tennis, gymnastics and skiing. The Schuman Campus and the School of Business Administration (IAE) are located downtown. Frequent bus service connects the campuses. Total enrollment: 20,000. Nestled alongside the Baie Des Anges on the Mediterranean, Nice is dominated by its mountaintop observatory which overlooks all six campuses of the university. Flanked by beaches and close to Alpine skiing areas, the city has fine museums, year-round arts festivals, opera, and theaters. Nice is half an hour by train from Cannes and Monaco.

Scholarship information ------
Dormitory information ON-Campus:
Since the number of rooms is limited, we cannot guarantee all exchange students on-campus accommodation. The rooms are small and modestly equipped. Halls of residence are located in various points of the city, sometimes away from the campuses. All halls of residence are mixed. When the student is accepted at UNS, he/she must go onto the CROUS website (http://www.crous-nice.fr) and apply for accommodation online. He/she will then receive a paper application 3 weeks later.
OFF-Campus:
Our office CALIOPPE cannot offer private accommodation before the arrival of the student, but can only offer their assistance once he/she is in Nice. Private housing for students includes studio flats in privatelyowned student residence halls, rooms in private flats, private studio flats or small apartments, and larger flats to share with other students. CALIOPPE will help, if necessary, to find a provisional solution on the arrival of the student.
