How to Apply (for current students (privately financed international students))

Scholarship Application Registration must be completed for students who wish to apply for university application scholarships, university recommendation scholarships, or scholarships for privately financed international students that Keio University provides. This registration is conducted at the beginning of each semester. If you do not register, you will not be able to apply for a scholarship. The schedule for scholarship applicant registration for 2020 is as follows.
 

【!! Important !! ①Application Period】(2020/5/15 Updated)
 The application period for Scholarship Application Registration for spring semester 2020 has been changed as follows.

 (1) 1st Period (For all students)
     ◆Application Period: April 1st - May 1st, 2020 
※Already Closed (2020/5/11 Updated)

 (2) 2nd Period (For all students)
  ◆Application Period: May 11th - May 25th, 2020
 ※If you complete the registration during the second application period of the Spring semester 2020,
  you are eligible to apply for the scholarship which deadline is after June 4, 2020 (Thursday). (2020/5/15 Updated)


 (3) Only students who are unable to apply within the second application period because you are infected with
       COVID-19 and are currently being treated and quarantined (2020/5/11 Updated)
     ◆Application Period: May 26th  - Anytime during Spring semester
  ※Please submit the following documents when applying.
  ・ Documents proving that you were positive for COVID-19, and has been recieved treatment.
  ・ Documents certifying that COVID-19 has been completely cured.

【!! Important !! ②How to submit Scholarship applications】(2020/4/3 Updated)
 As a temporary measure to prevent the spread of new corona virus infections,
 scholarship documents will be accepted only by E-mail from April 3rd 2020

 (After submitting by e-mail, as soon as you are able to go out,
 please mail the original documents to the scholarship section of your campus.)

 ・Documents for scholarship application registration for international students in the spring semester of 2020
 ・Documents to continue receiving private foundation scholarships
 ・Documents to be submitted at the end of the year 2019

 <Important Notes for submitting documents via E-mail>
 ・Please send the documents to the e-mail address for the scholarship section on your campus in spring semester 2020.
 ・You may be asked to check the contents of the documents, so please have a copy of the documents with you.
 ・ When you send the e-mail, please include the following information in the mail text.
  Subject of the e-mail must be  "[Name of document] scholarship name (student number name)".

 <Important Notes for submitting documents via mail>
 Please ship documents to the scholarship section on your campus (Campus which you belong from Spring semester 2020).
 ・Please ship documents with tracking service (Letter pack via Japanese post office, DHL, FedEx etc.) 
  ※From Thursday, April 2, 2020, EMS by Japan Post will suspend international mail in some areas,
   so please avoid mailing by using EMS.   For the details, please check Japan Post website.(2020/4/1 Updated)
 ・Please submit document without folding it.
 ・Please include your e-mail address which is able to contact you during the day.
 ・Please make sure you have a copy with you.
 ・After shipping the documents, please send the following information to the email address of the scholarship section
  on your campus

Within a scope that is appropriate for achieving the above purposes, the International Center may disclose when necessary personal information about recommended students to sponsors, financial institutions, and others.
