Presentations
Presenters should arrive 15 minutes early to allow
time for trouble shooting. Please note that there is no extra time
allocated for trouble shooting during your session, and will come out of
your presentation time.
Please keep to the time limit of 30 minutes per presenter. This 30
minutes should be divided between a presentation of 20 minutes and 10
minutes for general discussion.
Presentation Data
Presenters are expected to use only the built-in
computer that will be available in each lecture theatre, and to use
PowerPoint for their presentations.
Please bring your PowerPoint file on
a USB (memory stick). If you are using Windows Vista or the 2007
Microsoft Office system, your file should be prepared in a way that is
compatible with a pre-released version of the system. Please avoid using
two-byte characters and spaces at all times. (Please do not use “
、”, use
commas instead.)
Guidelines for Stream Chairs

|
Please take the lead in promoting information exchange and
discussion among the paper presenters in your stream.
The Keio University Organizing Committee (OC) will provide
participants with the email addresses of paper presenters and their full
papers for their stream some time after the deadline for submitting full
papers on 25th June.
In order to promote discussion in your stream, we strongly
recommend that you read all the full papers to be presented in your
stream in advance.

B) At the conference: |

4) |
Most streams have been allocated 2 hours with 3 or 4
presenters. (For 2-hour streams having only 3 presenters, you have the
choice of finishing the stream at the end of 90 minutes or extending the
general discussion for another 30 minutes.)
Streams 3 and 4 in the Session 7 have 6 presenters and will
start at 9 AM.
To facilitate presentations and general discussion, please
keep to the time limit of 30 minutes per presenter. This 30 minutes
should be divided between a presentation of 20 minutes and 10 minutes
for general discussion.
At the time of your own presentation, please ask someone in
your stream to be the acting chair.
We appreciate your cooperation!
