University profile The total number of students enrolled at the University is approximately 18,500, and
2,200 of these are international students from all over the world.
While studying at Siegen University, students from our more than 200 international
partner institutions have regular student status with all privileges of a student.
We offer you a free choice of subjects; interdisciplinary studies are possible.
As an exchange student, you are free to choose courses from nearly all subjects.
German language programs are available: Intensive courses (20 hours per week) 
even for beginners are offered during the semesters.
Living arrangements available include both dormitories and apartments.
Exchange students are guaranteed single rooms in dormitories or off-campus at about EUR 250.00, including heating. When exchange students arrive, a tutor will help them during the first days.
We also advise students to prepare their schedule.
