University profile Ewha Womans University today is one of the most prestigious universities in Korea. Ewha was established in 1886 as the first-ever educational institution for Korean women. Over the last 130 years, Ewha has pioneered in education in Korea. Toward the goal of “advancing into the world’s top 100 universities,” Ewha is committed to finding and investing in essential knowledge for the future so that at least ten departments rank in the world’s top 200 and eventually in the world’s top 100. Total enrollment is over 25,000 students.

Undergraduate programs NOT open to exchange students The (Professional) Graduate School of Translation and Interpretation, and Medicine and The (Special) Graduate School of Education, Design, Social Welfare, Theology, Policy Sciences, Performing Arts, Clinical & Public Health Convergence, Clinical Dentistry, Teaching Foreign Languages courses are not available.
- The Graduate School of International Studies courses may be available depending on course policy - Graduate School of Business(MBA) courses are only available to graduate student with business-level department agreement.

Minimum language proficiency  (UG) Students who wish to take classes in Korean: A2 Level (CEFR), but a sufficient command of Korean to follow lectures is recommended.
Students who wish to take classes in English: TOEFL iBT 70 or IELTS 5.5
