To complete the Information Form, you can access information on Keio faculty here.

    ★Tips for searching for a supervisor:
It would be better to consult with your university adviser and get him/her to introduce you to a suitable Keio professor at first.  You may also find it helpful to review academic journals or other resources open to the public.

Please be aware that MEXT Scholarship Coordinator will not introduce any KEIO Professors to you.

    ★English Based Courses and Japanese Based Courses:
Please note that Keio University has an English based course only at the Graduate Schools of Science and Technology, Media and Governance, System Design and Management, and Media Design.  The applicant who seeks to obtain a degree at the Graduate Schools other than those Graduate Schools is required to have a native level Japanese knowledge, since the entrance examination and all the courses are conducted in Japanese.  Although the MEXT can provide a 6-month Japanese language training program (full-time Japanese Language Course) during the first 6-month period after your arrival, that may not be enough to prepare for the entrance examination if you are a Japanese beginner. Please make sure that you discuss your future plan including full-time Japanese Language Course with your academic advisor well in advance.

3. Notification

After screening your documents, International Exchange Services Group will contact the graduate school  based on "Information Form" to issue a letter of acceptance.  This acceptance letter will be sent to the address provided in your "Information Form".  Please note that Keio University does not guarantee that a letter of acceptance will be sent to every applicant.  In the event an acceptance letter cannot be issued, International Exchange Services Group will inform the applicant through the email given in the Information Form.

4. University Placement

It is the Monbukagakusho, a Japanese government agency, that determines university placement.  Neither the applicant nor Keio University has authority to make this decision or influence its outcome.  Additionally, a Letter of Acceptance does not, of itself, guarantee an assignment to Keio University.

    * Entrance to a Master/Doctoral course *
We strongly recommend you to read carefully the application guide of graduate schools you would like to enroll in before coming to Japan.  That is because some schools require you to submit a "Certificate of Graduation" issued within three months before the deadline of the graduate school application, the original copy of TOFEL score, and so on.  It will be much easier for you to prepare them in your country than in Japan.

The information on admission is available in Admission page of Keio Website.  You can also go to admission information from page of graduate schools.
