2010 Spring Admission 2010 Fall Admission Procedures
Each university has its own exchange student selection procedure. Please inquire of your university's exchange coordinator at least one year before your desired semester of admission. 1. Obtain information on Keio's Student Exchange Programs.

- Japanese Language Program
- Research Program
2. Apply for exchange student at your institution.
3. Internal selection may be conducted by your institution.

After you are successfully selected by your home institution to study at Keio, prepare the application documents required by Keio.

Submit complete application documents to your exchange coordinator at your home institution, and then have them sent to Keio by the deadline.
October - November, 2009 April - May, 2010 Application documents will be screened by Keio's exchange student selection committee.
Mid December, 2009 Mid June, 2010 Once accepted, we will send acceptance documents including the housing information to your exchange coordinator by express mail.
Mid February, 2010 Late July, 2010 Keio will send you a Certificate of Eligibility as soon as it arrives from the Immigration Bureau; submit it when applying for a student visa at the Japanese consulate or embassy.

March 25, 2010 Mid September, 2010 Orientation starts for exchange student
March 29, 2010 Mid September, 2010 Japanese language placement test
Late March - Early April, 2010 Mid September, 2010 Interview with academic advisor
April 8, 2010 September 25, 2010 Classes start
Early September, 2010 Mid March - Early April, 2011 Official transcript is issued
