ŒfÚ“úF2009/10/1

There have been reports of outbreaks of influenza A (HINI), seasonal influenza and whooping cough at each of Keiofs campuses.  We will keep you informed of all important information, but in the meantime we ask that you take note of the following points to prevent the spread of infectious diseases:

Important points to prevent the spread of infection diseases

  • Take your temperature every morning.

  • If you have a temperature over 37.5@degrees Celsius  and symptoms of a cold, do not attend campus. Instead wear a face mask and visit your local health care provider to be examined. If you develop symptoms while at university or away from home, wear a face mask and visit your health care provider to be examined.

  • If you have been confirmed to have illnesses such as influenza A (H1N1), seasonal influenza, whooping cough, measles, mumps, chickenpox, German measles, pharyngoconjunctival fever, or  epidemic keratoconjunctivitis, you must stay at home until your doctor gives you permission to return to university. Once you receive permission, have your doctor complete the form gPermission to attend campus after having an infectious diseaseh. You will then need to visit the Keio University Heath Center with the form and be interviewed by a doctor. You can then resume attending classes and club activities.
