Participation as Observers
The 8th Annual Association of Pacific Rim Universities Doctoral
Students Conference (APRU DSC) will take place from 30 July to 3
August 2007 at the Mita campus of Keio University, Japan. Doctoral
students from all disciplines, including the social sciences, the
humanities, and the natural sciences are invited to attend and present
a paper related to their doctoral research.
During the 8th DSC, Students and faculty members from APRU member
universities who are not presenting papers at the 8th DSC are also
welcome to participate in the conference as observers. Only academic
and plenary sessions are open to observers. Participation to various
social programs is restricted to selected conference participants.
To participate in the conference as an observer, pre-registration will
not be necessary. However, you are requested to register on site as
follows.
1) To attend academic sessions, please come to the Conference
Secretariat to sign up and receive copies of the session schedule.
Location of the Conference Secretariat will change during the
conference. :
- On July 30th: Room 314 in the Graduate School Building
- On July 31st - August 3rd: P-net Cafe in the South Building

2) To attend plenary sessions, please sign up at the following sites
at least 10 minutes before each session starts:
